by Sep 18, 20172017 Produce Update

You know fall is here when pumpkins have been added to the list – and they have been this week! Please note your last chance to take part in a Nordic Walking session at the Garden is Tuesday evening at 6:00 pm (click here for details). Also, on Sunday, September 24, the University of Alberta will be hosting its Canada 150 Community Celebration at South Campus. Details of the event can be found at: https://www.ualberta.ca/canada-150/upcoming-events/canada-150-community-celebration/schedule.

The garden market is open: Tuesday, September 19, 2017 from 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

Market hours are: Tuesday evenings 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm and Saturdays from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm

If you are interested in a large quantity of an item, please check with one of our volunteers first just in case quantities are limited. Thank you for your understanding!

Also, please help us by bringing your own bags. And, if you have clean plastic bags to spare we can always use them.

For those of you who haven’t visited the Garden before, we are located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn). A map and further directions to the garden are available at: www.greengoldgarden.com/visit.

See you at the market! Please remember to BYOB(ags)!!
