West Coast Seeds Fundraiser 2024

by | Jan 5, 2024 | Events, Garden News

Hello Green & Gold Garden Supporters – and Happy 2024!

Good news – once again, we will be participating in West Coast Seeds’ annual seed sale fundraiser. This gives you the chance to order an expanded variety (this year there are over 700 types) of vegetable, flower and herb seeds from the West Coast Seeds fundraising website.

With every order, 40% of the packet price is generously donated to the Green & Gold Community Garden. These funds help to cover our garden equipment and supplies for our 2024 season.

You will save on shipping costs as all of the seeds are sent to the Green & Gold Garden for pick up in March. This fundraiser gives us all a head start on spring garden planning in the chill of winter.

OUR SEED FUNDRAISER STARTS ON MONDAY, JANUARY 15 AND RUNS UNTIL WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 31, 2024.

Here’s how to order fundraising seeds:

1. Go to the West Coast Seeds fundraising website. Here you can see the available seeds, photos and descriptions of the plants, and growing information.

2. Click Shop to select the seeds you would like.

3. When you have finished choosing your seeds click Cart and select the Green & Gold Community Garden from the drop-down menu under Select Your Organization.

4. Please include your name, phone number and email address in your contact information.

5. Confirm your order and Proceed to Check Out for payment through their secure payment site.

6. You’ll receive a confirmation email from West Coast Seeds for your order.

7. Your seeds will be shipped to the Green & Gold Community Garden for pick up. We will contact everyone by email once the seeds have arrived in Edmonton and are sorted and available for pick up in March.

Everyone is welcome to participate so please do let friends and family know about our fundraiser too!

Please note: you must be able to pick up your seeds in Edmonton.

Thanks so much to everyone who purchased fundraiser seeds last year, and many thanks to West Coast Seeds for giving us this opportunity again for the 2024 season.
