Updated Produce for October 8, 2016
Happy Thanksgiving G & G Community Garden Supporters! We have lots of sweet corn and pumpkins to sell tomorrow. We’ll have bulk sales of some vegetables: – beets, potatoes and tomatoes – come & fill up a bag with about 10 lbs for $10.00. We’ve had heavy frost this week, but we have many vegetables that were harvested before the frost or are frost hardy.
We’re open tomorrow, October 8, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
For those of you who haven’t visited the Garden before, we are located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn). A map and further directions to the garden are available at: www.greengoldgarden.com/visit
See you at the market! Please remember to BYOB(ags)!!
