Produce for September 20 and 24, 2016

Warm days and chilly nights… Fall is in the air (not to mention on the calendar) so this week’s recipe is for a root vegetable casserole that includes celeriac in the list of ingredients (item #2 in our produce list). Please remember to BYOB(ags)!!

The garden market is open Tuesday, September 20, 2016 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Regular market hours for the remainder of the season will be: Tuesday evenings from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

For those of you who haven’t visited the Garden before, we are located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn).
