Produce for October 3 and 7, 2017
We’ve added garlic to this week’s list. We also have Elderberry ‘Elixir’ – made from our elderberries by Mojo Jojo Pickles! It is made with elderberries, organic honey and spices, 175ml for $10.00. It can be used as a health tonic, topping or flavouring.
We’ll have bulk sales of beets and GREEN tomatoes too – come and fill up a bag with about 10 lbs for $10.00!
The garden market will be open: Tuesday, October 3 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 7 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
If you are interested in a large quantity of an item, please check with one of our volunteers first just in case quantities are limited. Thank you for your understanding!
Also, please help us by bringing your own bags. And if you have clean plastic bags to spare, we can always use them.
For those of you who haven’t visited the Garden before, we are located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn).
