Produce for October 20, 2018

After a few weeks of unseasonably cold weather and occasional snowfall, we welcome this week’s warmer temperatures. We will be able to dig the remaining potatoes and carrots, so we are adding one more sales day on Saturday, October 20.

Our apologies to anyone who purchased green tomato salsa between September 17 and 29 and found that the salsa wasn’t good. Some jars did not seal properly. The jars from that batch have a white sticker on the bottom with a Sept date. We’ll be happy to provide a refund.

On Saturday, October 20, 2018 we’ll be open from: 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Saturday, October 27 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. Location: 2nd floor of Mill Woods EPL, #201-2610 Hewes Way – Free admission

Sunday, November 4 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. Location: Royal Glenora Club, 11160 River Valley Rd NW – Free admission

For those of you who haven’t visited the Garden before, we are located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn).
