Produce For July 7 and 11, 2020

Welcome to our first week of Tuesday and Saturday markets for 2020! New additions to the produce list are in bold type. Please click here for suggested uses for walking onions and sorrel provided by one of our volunteers.

The Garden market is open:

Tuesday, July 7 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Saturday, July 11 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Reminder: We’re operating a little differently this year due to the pandemic and would appreciate it if you could help keep us all safe by:

• NOT coming to the Garden if you are sick
• Wearing a mask
• Keeping 2 meters between yourself and other customers and our volunteers

Please note: There’s no custom picking by volunteers or self-serve at the kiosk this year. Instead, we have a designated shopping area at the front of the garden. Please line up at the south end and a volunteer will help guide you through the shopping area filling a bag with the pre-picked/packaged produce you choose to buy. A cashier will be located at the north end of the shopping area.

The Garden is located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn).
