Produce for August 7 and 11, 2018
We have quite a few additions to this week’s produce list: beans, cabbage, cucumbers, garlic, potatoes and zucchini!
As a reminder, the YEGO Rwanda fundraiser is on Wednesday, August 8th. Please see YEGO’s poster for the details of this event. Also, a short, very powerful film describing the Tubahumurize Association’s work was recently added to the About Us page of our website: https://www.greengoldgarden.com/about/.
This week the garden market is open: Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, August 11, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
For those of you who haven’t visited the Garden before, we are located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn). A map and further directions to the garden are available at: www.greengoldgarden.com/visit.
Please bring your own bags for produce. See you at the market!
