Produce for August 30 and September 3, 2016

There are so many recipes for zucchini that we couldn’t resist featuring one more, especially since we can supply the first 3 ingredients. We’ve added squash and parsnips to the list this week and for those who’ve asked… yes, we have green tomatoes! Also, please help us by bringing your own bags. We have a very limited supply of plastic bags on hand.

The garden market is open Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturday, September 3, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Regular market hours for the remainder of the summer will be Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

For those of you who haven’t visited the Garden before, we are located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn).
