Last Day Of Sales: October 10, 2020

by Oct 8, 20202020 Produce Update

Please note: Saturday, October 10 is the last market of the season. Our thanks to everyone who came to the markets over the past 14 weeks. We sincerely appreciate your support of the Garden so we can continue our support of the women of Tubahumurize. In addition to produce, cloth face masks made by the women of Tubahumurize will be available: $10.00 each or 3 for $25.00.

Saturday’s market is open from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Reminder: We’re operating a little differently this year due to the pandemic and would appreciate it if you could help keep us all safe by:

  • NOT coming to the Garden if you are sick
  • Wearing a mask
  • Keeping 2 meters between yourself and other customers and our volunteers

Please note: There’s no custom picking by volunteers or self-serve at the kiosk this year. Instead, we have a designated shopping area at the front of the garden. Please line up at the south end and a volunteer will help guide you through the shopping area filling a bag with the pre-picked/packaged produce you choose to buy. A cashier will be located at the north end of the shopping area.

The Garden is located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn). A map and further directions to the garden are available at: www.greengoldgarden.com/visit

See you at the Market!
