We’ll be having a series of special events this summer to celebrate the Year of the Garden. Our first event is an introductory workshop on grafting fruit trees, led by Gabe Botar. Gabe taught horticulture at the University of Alberta for many years, and created the heritage orchard that is now part of the Green & Gold Community Garden.
The workshop will be held at the Green & Gold Community Garden orchard (adjacent to the Garden) on Saturday, June 25, from 1 to 2 pm.
There is no need to pre-register and the workshop is free of charge. No need to bring tools either. All are welcome to attend.
