We’ve added beans and carrots to this week’s list. If you need a change from salads featuring mixed greens, our recipe for a kale salad is easy and you know where to get the main ingredient picked fresh for you! Please be reminded that there’s another Nordic walking session this Saturday, August 13 at 10:00 a.m. (click here for details).
The garden market is open Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. And Saturday, August 13, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Regular market hours for the remainder of the summer will be: Tuesday evenings from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
For those of you who haven’t visited the Garden before, we are located on the South Campus of the University of Alberta. Enter the University Farm off 60th Ave. Turn left at the T intersection (118th St) and you can’t miss it (we’re just across the road from the old barn).
